About
Welcome…
You’ve arrived at a quiet corner of the internet—no notifications, no hustle, no life hacks. Just words, memories, and the occasional lion who forgets how to roar.
This site began with a post called “The Beginning”—written not to go viral, but to make sense of memory. The original idea was to explore the evolution of human thought. But that’s not the only thing that interests me.
I’ve worked, gone to college again, spent time away from home, built memories with my family, read endlessly—and often found myself drifting into nostalgia. One post became another, and soon I had carved out a little room of my own. A room full of stories, ideas, memories, and reflection.
The writing here is slow. Sometimes sentimental. Often curious. It moves between philosophy and pulp, literature and fables, nostalgia and quantum physics.
It doesn’t aim to teach. It simply hopes to linger.
Who is The Gentleman Philosopher?
I’m an Indian man raised in small towns on Hindi medium dreams and 90s melodies. Like so many others, I traveled—first to the metropolitans of India, then overseas. I lived outside India for over a decade. When I returned, I began writing on this site.
I work a regular job, spend time with my family, build memories, drink my chai, and read late into the night.
But here, I write as The Gentleman Philosopher—a quiet alter ego, or perhaps the truer one. It’s a name drawn from a tradition I imagined into being: one that values slowness over speed, thinking over trending, grace over cynicism.
If you’d like the professional side of me, you can visit my LinkedIn.
But if you want to know what I really care about, the writing is right here.
